These various sites all can be accesssed from a browser on your computer however each will have it own  APP (application) you are able to download to mobile phones and Tablet device as well.   What is FACEBOOK about?     facebook by  Book Catalog Facebook (FB) is just one Social media platform,  possibly one of the most widely accessed SM platforms globally. Hi,  My name is PamelaP and I have created this blog in the hope it may assist seniors in the community to gain a greater understanding of Social Media, how to create an account, some of the benefits, along with some of the associated risks.   I found that some people needed to be able to access information in a self-paced manner that they are able to refer back to. Hence, this blog, and I hope it helps to improve your awareness of Social Media and t he learning outcome you hope to achieve. CONCLUSION

  CONCLUSION  This has been a brief introduction to " What is social media for seniors" .  We have looked at just a few    WHS issues    Examples of social media and what value each may hold and the b enefits of social media for seniors have been identified. Directions for Social media registrations and login have been provided along with videos to assist you through the process should you require it. AND General risks associated with seniors' social media users have also been listed. my email address  has been provided so learners can provide completed exercises or any other assistance should you require it.  Thank you for attending the session and please complete the Evaluation sheet to let us at the library know if this session has been helpful or if anything could be altered or improved upon.
