The Twitter Social media platform is widely accessed across the world and people tweet, meaning they write a comment and post it on this social media platform for other users to read, share, and comment upon. A  person commenting on Twitter may be referred to as a Tweeter,  a person who tweets.

Twitter is great for those who want to stay up to date with news, and current/social events, and those who write, make, and/or become the news. You can follow people from Children’s book authors to the Prime Minister of almost any country who are bound to have a Twitter account that staff members administer and field the comments left on a site called a feed/feeds or Twitter “feeds”.

Pinterest is an image sharing and social media service designed to enable the saving and discovery of information on the internet using images, animated GIFs, and videos, in the form of pinboards.
Wikipedia.

PINTEREST is also a Social media platform with a slightly different focus, but still staying within the communication/sharing/ creating data realm. Pinterest is possibly one of the ‘craftiest’ Social Media platforms known across the globe for being a source of sharing inspirational ideas “a visual discovery engine for finding ideas like recipes, home and style inspiration, and so much more” (Referenced on 20/03/2022 from https://help.pinterest.com/en/guide/all-about-pinterest).

Based on your activity and what you look at on the platform, Pinterest will direct “Pins” to your home page, pages they think you may be interested in based on what you have been searching the site for, or pages/“Pins” you have been looking recently. Always remember it remains your choice to accept or reject.
